Privacy notice

What we collect

  • Business details, owner identity details and bank account details you give us during onboarding, to verify your business as federal law and card network rules require.
  • Transaction records from your terminals (amount, time, card brand, last four digits, entry method). We never receive full card numbers.
  • Login and usage records for security.

How we use it

To process your payments, deposit your money, produce your statements and insights, prevent fraud, and meet legal and card network obligations. We do not sell your data or your customers' data.

Who we share it with

Our sponsor bank and payment platform partner (to process payments and verify identity), the card networks (as their rules require), and service providers bound by confidentiality. Law enforcement only when legally required.

How we protect it

Owner Social Security numbers and full bank account numbers go directly to our platform partner's verification service; Assay keeps only the last four digits. Passwords are hashed. Two-step login is available on every account.

Your choices

You can export your data, correct it, or ask us to delete what we're not required to keep. Card network and banking rules require us to keep some records for several years after you close your account.
